SPAIN, May. 7, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: After losing 0-3 to Barcelona on April 29, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Sunday.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to goals from Baptistao Leonardo ('14) and Moreno ('29). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
RCD Espanyol remains in 9th place with 53 points from 36 games, one point behind SD Eibar.
