La Liga (Week 37) : Valencia beats Espanyol 1-0
SPAIN, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Valencia. After their 4-1 win against Osasuna on May 7, Los Che continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Espanyol this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Valencia midfielder José Luis Gayá in the 75th minute.
RCD Espanyol remains in 9th place with 53 points from 37 games, one point behind SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
