La Liga (Week 37) : Bilbao and Leganés play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, May. 14, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: The match between Athletic Bilbao and Leganés ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Athletic Bilbao players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz in the 14th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Leganés with a saving goal from Szymanowski Alexander in the 61st minute.
Athletic Bilbao remains in 6th place with 63 points from 37 games, one point behind Villarreal CF.
