La Liga : Villarreal finish 5th after beating Valencia
SPAIN, May. 21, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 38: After their 0-0 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on May 14, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Valencia this Sunday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Roberto Soldado in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Trigueros Manuel '59 and Sansone '88).
