League One (Week 17) : Port Vale beats Barnsley 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Port Vale. After their 2-0 win against Shrewsbury Town on October 31, the Valiants continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Barnsley this Saturday.
Port Vale dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Leitch-smith Ajay in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Foley Sam in the 47th minute.
Port Vale FC climbed to 13rd place with 23 points from 17 games, tie on points with Scunthorpe United FC.
