ENGLAND, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 17: After losing 3-2 to Walsall on October 31, the Gills bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Bury this Saturday.
Bury opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Clarke Leon, before Gillingham regained the advantage with Samuel Dominic ('6) and Egan John ('10). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Gills further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Osadebe Emmanuel with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Gillingham FC climbed to first place with 34 points from 17 games, tie on points with runner-up Coventry City FC.
