League One (Week 17) : Wigan Athletic defeats Rochdale 2-0
ENGLAND, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 1-0 win against Swindon Town on October 31, the Latics continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-0 victory over Rochdale this Saturday.
Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pearce Jason in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jacobs Michael in the 61st minute.
Wigan Athletic FC remains in fifth place with 30 points from 17 games, one point behind Coventry City FC, which has a game in hand.
