ENGLAND, Feb. 26, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 33: After losing 1-0 to Sheffield United on February 20, the Valiants returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Southend United this Friday.
Port Vale dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dickinson Carl ('18), O Connor Michael ('38) and Coker Ben ('40 own). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Southend United FC remains in 7th place with 50 points from 33 games, 2 points behind Coventry City FC, which has two games in hand.
