League One (Week 33) : Barnsley beats Crewe 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 33: After their 0-0 draw against Bury on February 23, the Tykes bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
Crewe Alexandra had started off well by taking the lead in the 32nd minute with a goal by Guthrie Jon. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Tykes nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Winnall Sam '53 and Mawson Alfie '67).
Barnsley FC climbed to 9th place with 49 points from 33 games, only one point behind Southend United FC.
