League One (Week 21) : Northampton defeats Port Vale 3-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 21: After four straigth defeats, the Cobblers bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Port Vale this Saturday.
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zakuani Gabriel in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hoskins Sam '78 and Anderson Paul '90).
Northampton Town FC climbed to 13rd place with 27 points from 21 games, only one point behind Millwall FC, which has a game in hand.
