League One (Week 20) : Wigan Athletic beats Rotherham 3-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 25, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 3-0 win against Doncaster Rovers on November 21, the Latics continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Rotherham United this Saturday.
Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to goals from Grigg Will ('14) and Bruce Alex ('28). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jacobs Michael in the 60th minute.
Wigan Athletic FC climbed to first place with 42 points from 19 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Shrewsbury Town FC.
