ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 9: After a 5-1 victory over Hartlepool United on September 16, the Cobblers lost 5-4 against Accrington Stanley.

Atkinson and O Sullivan scored dual goals

Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to goals from Atkinson ('22, '37) and O Sullivan ('28). Leading 3-1 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (O Sullivan '75 and Maguire '84).

Northampton Town FC are down in 9th place with 14 points from 9 games, one point behind Mansfield Town FC.
