ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 9: After losing 2-1 to Morecambe on September 16 and 0-1 to Wycombe Wanderers on September 16, the Pilgrims returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United this Saturday.
Plymouth Argyle dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Morgan in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pilgrims further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Thomas in the 77th minute.
Plymouth Argyle FC climbed to 12nd place with 13 points from 9 games, only one point behind Portsmouth FC.
