League Two (Week 11) : Wycombe Wanderers hold Northampton to 1-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 4, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 11: The match between Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Northampton Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cresswell in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Wycombe Wanderers with a saving goal from Holloway in the 90th minute.
Wycombe Wanderers FC remains in second place with 22 points from 11 games, one point behind Bury FC.
