ENGLAND, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for Cambridge United. After their 1-3 win against Burton Albion on October 3, The U's continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 5-1 victory over Oxford United this Saturday.
Appiah scored dual goals
Oxford United opened the score in the score in the 9th minute thanks to Hylton, before Cambridge United regained the advantage with Appiah ('41, '45). Leading 2-1 at the break, The U's further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Donaldson '54, Elliott '59 and Simpson '89).
Cambridge United FC climbed to 8th place with 17 points from 12 games, only one point behind Luton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
