WALES, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 25: Four wins in a row for Newport County. After their success against Plymouth Argyle, Cheltenham Town and Carlisle United, the Exiles continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth this Saturday.
Portsmouth made Newport County doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Byrne in the 68th minute.
Newport County AFC climbed to third place with 46 points from 25 games, 3 points behind Burton Albion FC.
