WALES, Apr. 3, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 40: The match between Newport County and Hartlepool United ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Hartlepool United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Minshull ('15 own) and Hugill ('37) while Newport County only scored once Jones ('44). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Newport County with a saving goal from O Connor in the 48th minute.
Newport County AFC remains in 6th place with 62 points from 40 games, 4 points behind Southend United FC, which has a game in hand.
