League Two (Week 21) : Northampton beats Luton 4-3
ENGLAND, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 21: Five wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their success against Mansfield Town, Notts County, Crawley Town and Yeovil Town, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-3 victory over Luton Town this Saturday.
Luton Town opened the score in the score in the 9th minute thanks to Benson Paul, before Northampton Town regained the advantage with O Toole John-joe ('18), D Ath Lawson ('30) and Richards Marc ('42). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Holmes Ricky in the 69th minute.
Northampton Town FC climbed to first place with 43 points from 21 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Oxford United FC.
