League Two (Week 25) : Oxford beats Notts 4-2
ENGLAND, Jan. 2, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 25: After their 0-0 draw against Yeovil Town on December 28, the Boys from Up the Hill returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Notts County this Saturday.
Oxford United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sercombe Liam in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Boys from Up the Hill further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Macdonald Alex '79, O Dowda Callum '90 and Roofe Kemar '90).
Oxford United FC remains in third place with 48 points from 25 games, one point behind Northampton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
