League Two (Week 25) : Plymouth beats Carlisle 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 2, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 25: Four wins in a row for Plymouth Argyle. After their success against Hartlepool United, Yeovil Town and Newport County, the Pilgrims continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Carlisle United this Saturday.
Plymouth Argyle dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brunt Ryan in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pilgrims further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wylde Gregg in stoppage time.
Plymouth Argyle FC remains in first place with 52 points from 25 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Northampton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
