League Two (Week 41) : Portsmouth beats Dag & Red 4-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 41: Three wins in a row for Portsmouth. After their success against Notts County and Carlisle United, Pompey continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge this Saturday.
Dagenham & Redbridge had started off well by taking the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by Hemmings Ashley. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Pompey nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Doyle Michael '59, Burgess Christian '68, Evans Gareth '85 and Bennett Kyle '88).
Portsmouth FC remains in 6th place with 69 points from 40 games, 2 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
