ENGLAND, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 41: The match between actual leader Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Northampton Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Adams Nicky in the 23rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Hoskins Sam goal ('49) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Bristol Rovers with goals by Taylor Matty ('76) and Harrison Ellis ('88).
Northampton Town FC remains in first place with 88 points from 41 games, a 12-point lead over runner-up Oxford United FC.
