ENGLAND, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 41: The Pilgrims crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-1 against AFC Wimbledon.
AFC Wimbledon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Taylor Lyle in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Akinfenwa Adebayo with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Plymouth Argyle FC are down in fifth place with 71 points from 41 games, one point behind Bristol Rovers FC.
