League Two (Week 42) : Plymouth defeats Portsmouth 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 42: After losing 2-1 to Exeter City on April 9 and 1-2 to AFC Wimbledon on April 9, the Pilgrims returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Portsmouth this Saturday.
Portsmouth had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by Smith Michael. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pilgrims nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Matt Jamille '85 and Wylde Gregg '86).
Plymouth Argyle FC remains in fifth place with 74 points from 42 games, one point behind Accrington Stanley FC.
