ENGLAND, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 42: After their 2-2 draw against Northampton Town on April 9, the Pirates bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town this Saturday.
Bristol Rovers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gaffney Rory in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pirates further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Taylor Matty in the 77th minute.
Bristol Rovers FC climbed to third place with 75 points from 42 games, only one point behind Oxford United FC.
