ENGLAND, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 45: After losing 2-1 to Portsmouth on April 22, The U's returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Crawley Town this Saturday.
Cambridge United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Wharton Scott in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, The U's further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Berry Luke on penalty seconds before the end of regulation.
Cambridge United FC climbed to 9th place with 66 points from 45 games, only one point behind Stevenage FC.
