League Two (Week 45) : Plymouth beats Crewe 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 45: After their 0-0 draw against Colchester United on April 22, the Pilgrims bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
Crewe Alexandra had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Jones James. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pilgrims nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Taylor Ryan '74 and Blissett Nathan '79).
Plymouth Argyle FC climbed to first place with 86 points from 45 games, one point ahead of runner-up Doncaster Rovers FC.
