Ligue 1 (Week 6) : Bordeaux beats Evian 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 6: After losing 2-1 to Guingamp on September 14, Bordeaux returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Evian this Friday.
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Diego Rolán in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Khazri in the 56th minute.
Bordeaux climbed to first place with 13 points from 6 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Lille, which has a game in hand.
