Ligue 1 (Week 18) : Bastia defeats Rennes 2-0
FRANCE, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 18: After three straigth defeats, Bastia returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Rennes this Saturday.
Bastia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Algerian midfielder Ryad Boudebouz in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bastia players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cahuzac with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Rennes remains in 6th place with 28 points from 18 games, 3 points behind Bordeaux.
