Ligue 1 (Week 19) : Reims beats Rennes 3-1
FRANCE, Dec. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Reims. After their 3-2 win against Evian on December 13, Reims continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Rennes this Saturday.
Rennes had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Mozambican defender Mexer. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Reims players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Charbonnier '65, Fortes '76 and De Préville '90).
Rennes are down in 8th place with 28 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Nantes.
