Ligue 1 (Week 19) : Monaco beats Metz 1-0
FRANCE, Dec. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 19: Four wins in a row for Monaco. After their success against Lens, Toulouse and Marseille, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Metz this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Belgian midfielder Yannick Ferreira Carrasco in the 79th minute.
AS Monaco climbed to fifth place with 32 points from 19 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
