Ligue 1 (Week 19) : Nantes beats Lorient 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Nantes. After their 2-1 win against Bordeaux on December 13, Nantes continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Lorient this Saturday.
Nantes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Yacine Bammou in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Nantes players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Audel in the 78th minute.
Nantes climbed to 7th place with 30 points from 19 games, only one point behind Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
