Ligue 1 (Week 20) : Saint-Etienne beats Reims 2-1
FRANCE, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their 3-0 win against Evian on December 21, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Reims this Saturday.
Saint-Etienne dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Yohan Mollo in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Saint-Etienne players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hamouma in the 48th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to third place with 39 points from 20 games, tie on points with Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
