FRANCE, Jan. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: After a 2-1 victory over Lille on December 21, Marseille lost 2-1 against Montpellier.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Kévin Bérigaud in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lasne in the 62nd minute.
Olympique de Marseille remains in first place with 41 points from 20 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
