Ligue 1 (Week 20) : Guingamp defeats Lens 2-0
FRANCE, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 20: After their 1-1 draw against Toulouse on December 20, Guingamp bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Lens this Saturday.
Guingamp dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Christophe Mandanne in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Guingamp players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Beauvue on penalty in the 76th minute.
Guingamp remains in 13rd place with 25 points from 20 games, tie on points with OGC Nice.
