Ligue 1 (Week 21) : Nice beats Bordeaux 2-1
FRANCE, Jan. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Nice. After their 3-1 win against Lorient on January 10, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Bordeaux this Friday.
Bordeaux had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Uruguayan forward Diego Rolán on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Nice players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Amavi '66 and Pléa '90).
Bordeaux remains in 6th place with 32 points from 21 games, one point behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
