Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Evian beats Metz 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Evian. After their 0-2 win against Lens on February 14, Evian continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Metz this Saturday.
Metz goalkeeper Johann Carrasso opened the score in the 29th minute with an own goal, before seeing Metz catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Bouna Sarr. 1-1 at half time. Evian eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sunu in the 73rd minute.
Evian climbed to 17th place with 29 points from 26 games, 2 points behind Lorient.
