Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Toulouse and Saint-Etienne play out 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: Saint-Etienne was held to a 1-1 draw by Toulouse on Saturday.
Saint-Etienne players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ivorian forward Max-Alain Gradel on penalty in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Toulouse with a saving goal from Ivorian defender Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro in the 88th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to fourth place with 43 points from 27 games, 7 points behind Olympique de Marseille.
