Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Montpellier beats Nice 2-1
FRANCE, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Montpellier. After their 0-2 win against Guingamp on February 22, Montpellier continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Nice this Sunday.
Nice forward Éric Bauthéac opened the score in the 36th minute on penalty, before seeing Montpellier catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Bryan Dabo. 1-1 at half time. Montpellier eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Barrios in the 66th minute.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 6th place with 42 points from 26 games, only one point behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
