Ligue 1 (Week 28) : Lyon defeats Montpellier 5-1
FRANCE, Mar. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 28: After losing 2-1 to Lille on February 28, “Les Gones” returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Montpellier this Sunday.
Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir scored dual goals
Montpellier opened the score in the score in the 6th minute thanks to Lucas Barrios, before Lyon regained the advantage with Lacazette ('30 on penalty) and Fekir ('40). Leading 2-1 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Fekir '72, Tolisso '90 and Lacazette '90).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in first place with 57 points from 28 games, one point ahead of runner-up Paris Saint-Germain.
