Ligue 1 (Week 28) : Bastia defeats Nice 2-1
FRANCE, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 28: After losing 2-0 to Lorient on February 28, Bastia bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Nice this Saturday.
Nice midfielder Carlos Eduardo opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Bastia catch up in the 26th minute thanks to Guillaume Gillet. 1-1 at half time. Bastia eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sio in the 68th minute.
Bastia climbed to 9th place with 36 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Rennes.
