Ligue 1 (Week 26) : Montpellier defeats Guingamp 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 26: After losing 1-2 to Lille on February 7, Montpellier returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Guingamp this Sunday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Morgan Sanson in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bérigaud in the 55th minute.
Montpellier HSC remains in 7th place with 39 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Bordeaux.
