Ligue 1 (Week 24) : Lille beats Montpellier 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Nantes on January 31, Lille bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Montpellier this Saturday.
Lille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Roux in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lopes in the 52nd minute.
Montpellier HSC are down in 7th place with 36 points from 24 games, one point behind Bordeaux.
