Ligue 1 (Week 33) : Lyon and Saint-Etienne play to a 2-2 draw
FRANCE, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 33: The match between actual leader Lyon and Saint-Etienne ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Saint-Etienne players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Gradel ('31 on penalty) and Hamouma ('45) while Lyon only scored once N'Jie ('24). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lyon with a saving goal from Lyon defender Christophe Jallet in the 48th minute.
Olympique Lyonnais remains in first place with 65 points from 33 games, tie on points with runner-up Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
