Ligue 1 (Week 33) : Metz defeats Lens 3-1
FRANCE, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Metz. After their 3-2 win against Toulouse on April 4, Metz continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Lens this Saturday.
Metz dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Florent Malouda in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Metz players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Sarr '57/penalty and Maïga '79).
Metz remains in 19th place with 29 points from 32 games, 6 points behind Lorient.
