FRANCE, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 33: The match between Guingamp and Evian ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Guingamp players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guingamp midfielder Claudio Beauvue in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Evian with a saving goal from Argentine forward Nicolás Blandi in the 50th minute.
Guingamp remains in 12nd place with 40 points from 33 games, one point behind OGC Nice.
