Ligue 1 (Week 33) : Monaco and Rennes tied at 1-1

FRANCE, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 33: Monaco was held to a 1-1 draw by Rennes on Saturday.

The Monacos started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rennes with a saving goal from Central African forward Habib Habibou in the 87th minute.

AS Monaco remains in third place with 59 points from 33 games, 5 points behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
