Ligue 1 (Week 18) : Montpellier defeats Guingamp 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 18: After their 2-2 draw against Marseille on December 6, Montpellier bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Guingamp this Saturday.
Guingamp had started off well by taking the lead in the 32nd minute with a goal by Guinean forward Sloan Privat. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Montpellier players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Camara '54 and Ninga Casimir '62).
Montpellier HSC climbed to 13rd place with 22 points from 18 games, only one point behind Nantes.
