Ligue 1 (Week 18) : Reims hold Nice to 1-1
FRANCE, Dec. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 18: The match between Reims and Nice ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Nice players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nice forward Valère Germain in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Reims with a saving goal from Brazilian forward Diego on penalty in the 78th minute.
OGC Nice climbed to fifth place with 26 points from 18 games, 2 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
