Ligue 1 (Week 24) : PSG defeats Lorient 3-1
FRANCE, Feb. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 24: 8 wins in a row for PSG. After their success against Nice, Lyon, Caen, Bastia, Toulouse, Angers and Saint-Etienne, PSG continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Lorient this Wednesday.
PSG forward Edinson Cavani opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Lorient catch up in the 19th minute thanks to Raphaël Guerreiro. 1-1 at half time. PSG eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Ibrahimovic ('55) and Kurzawa ('69).
Paris Saint-Germain remains in first place with 66 points from 24 games, a 24-point lead over runner-up AS Monaco.
